The Museum offers free workshops that allow children with and without special needs to create art together. The objective of ArtReach is to provide opportunities for self-expression and communication through the visual arts. Participants will learn how to work with different media and gain knowledge of elements of art while being introduced to a specific artist’s art and inspiration. Students will create an original work of art based on the skills learned in the workshop. All materials are provided.
Found Object Portraits - Art can be made out of anything! In this ArtReach workshop, students will explore and experiment with found objects and recycled materials to create a self-portrait inspired by The Outwin: American Portraiture Today exhibition.
